 The Berkshire Baseball & Softball Club will be conducting a World Equipment Outreach Program. The club will be organizing one drop off date during the 2008 season where you can bring your used baseball & softball equipment and donate it.
The organization will then donate the equipment to the Oakbrook Unit of the Olivet's Boys & Girls Club and to Child Sponsorship International, an orphanage and child outreach program, located in Roatan, Honduras.
Please donate items that can still be used. Financial contributions to help offset the cost of shipping can be made at the drop off location or via the secured link right here on our web site. All donations, equipment and financial, are tax deductible.
Equipment can be dropped off on the following date and location:
Sunday, June 1, 2008 - 12-4 PM
First Energy Stadium
Outside Main Gate (Left Side)
Rt. 61, Reading, PA
(This will be conducted in conjunction with the annual Baseballtown/Berkshire Scholarship Fund Game. The Reading Phillies will take on the Harrisburg Senators at 1:05 PM and the Berkshire Red Sox will face off against the Berkshire Blue Sox at 5:05 PM)
